lyrics

a warm light shines
and darkens my face
losing its heat
to the bitter cold lake

in the shadow of grandeur
i am forgotten
surrounded by branches
which my thoughts are lost in

and the giants stood tall
with their feet in the water
their eyes fixed on me
apprehensive and somber

i shout "i see you!"
in deep admiration
they echo my words
but forgo the affection

i hang my head
for all of five seconds
stubborn and cowardly
in the face of this lesson
